How it works
In the FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) technique, the procedure unfolds in three distinct stages. First stage: extracting follicles one by one from the donor area, using a micropunch 0.7 to 0.9 mm in diameter. Second stage: opening the recipient channels in the target area — this is where the sapphire blade comes in, replacing traditional metal blades. Third stage: manual implantation of the follicles into the opened channels. The sapphire blade — which gives the FUE Sapphire variant its name — is a precious stone cut with an ultra-fine bevel. Its smooth surface and rigidity make it possible to create microchannels that are finer, more precise, and less traumatic to the tissue than classic metal blades. The result: higher achievable density, faster healing, and a more natural implantation angle.
